Question 1

Do I need sales experience?

Accepted Answer

No. You need people you can reach. The onboarding course teaches you what 8x sells and how to introduce it.

Question 2

Do I join the sales call?

Accepted Answer

No. Your job is the introduction. The 8x team runs the call and the deal, and you can follow its status from your dashboard.

Question 3

How do I get credit for a brand?

Accepted Answer

Through your referral link or your code. If a brand books through your link, or enters your code on the booking form, the meeting is yours.

Question 4

When do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Commission is created when 8x marks the deal won, and it is paid 30 days later. You can see the amount and the date in your wallet.

Question 5

What happens after I apply?

Accepted Answer

The 8x team reviews your application, usually within 24 hours. You'll hear back by email, and you start as a Rookie.

Question 6

What counts as a good brand?

Accepted Answer

It sells to consumers, shows well on camera, is already spending on marketing and isn't already talking to 8x. The team reviews every brand you add.

Question 7

Can I cold email brands?

Accepted Answer

Not from a personal or throwaway address. Reach out as yourself: a warm intro, your network, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or in person.

Question 8

Can I quote prices or promise results?

Accepted Answer

No. Pricing belongs to the 8x team, and nobody can promise views or sales. Tell the brand what 8x does and let the team take it from there.

Question 9

Does it cost anything?

Accepted Answer

No. Joining is free, and you are paid commission on deals you bring in.

Question 10

How do I go from Rookie to Scout?

Accepted Answer

Finish the onboarding course and get 10 brands approved. Your referral link goes live the moment you reach Scout.

Question 11

How much is the commission?

Accepted Answer

1% of the brand's first contract with 8x as a Scout, 2% as a Senior Scout. You can try a deal size in the calculator on the home page.

Question 12

Can two scouts add the same brand?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at the first levels. If both work it, the meeting goes to whoever's link or code the brand books through.

Question 13

How is my data used?

Accepted Answer

Only to run the program: your account, credit for meetings and your commission. The KVKK privacy notice explains it in full.
